SPCC Aghalokpe Old Students Association Holds Memorial Service

 

St. Peter Claver’s College(SPCC) Aghalokpe Old Students Association is to hold an Interdenominational Memorial Church Service to honour departed Claverians.

The programme which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Assembly Hall of SPCC, Aghalokpe is to kick off at 11.00 am.

According a statement signed by the Prof. Victor Teddy Jike, Global President, SPCC Aghalokpe Old Students Association and Raphael Ofoluwanyo, Chairman, Planning Committee made available to newsmen, the programme is meant to honour departed Claverians since the inception of the school in 1950.

The statement further said, records have shown that 27 Class Sets have lost over 300 Claverians since the inception of the school which breakdown shows that Class sets 82, 73, and 84 have lost as many as 33, 32 and 27 respectively.

The statement added, “the SPCC Old Students Association is planning an Interdenominational Memorial Church Service scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025 at the School Compound, SPCC Aghalokpe in honour of departed Claverians.”

The statement further noted that families of departed Claverians are expected to join the student body other invited guests and the Old Students Association to honour their loved ones.

The statement reads, “the memorial service is interdenominational, and families of departed Claverians who are from other churches such as Pentecostal, Baptist and Anglican Churches are expected to be in attendance to give due honour to our fallen Old Students while also benefiting from the Claverian Family.

“A list of the names of Class Sets of departed Claverians would be produced.”
