Fobally Art World Africa, in collaboration with the Federal Palace Hotel & Casino, has announced the 2026 Lagos Easter Art Carnival.

The carnival, themed “A Journey Back To 200 Years Through Art and Culture,” is designed to take participants on a reflective exploration of African life, traditions, and creativity spanning over two centuries.

The event will officially kick off on April 3rd, 2026, at 1:00 PM, with subsequent activities running daily from April 4th to April 11th, 2026, between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

The venue for the highly anticipated cultural showcase is the Federal Palace Hotel and Casino, located at 6–8 Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to the organizers, Mrs Edna Abugewa Ekenimoh is one of the participating Artist. The Lagos Easter Art Carnival will feature a blend of art exhibitions, cultural displays, and immersive experiences, all curated to highlight the richness and evolution of African culture over the past 200 years. The collaboration with Federal Palace Hotel & Casino underscores the scale and significance of the event within Nigeria’s cultural and tourism landscape.

The carnival is expected to attract artists, collectors, cultural enthusiasts, tourists, and members of the public, providing a platform for creative exchange, education, and entertainment.

Art lovers and interested participants are encouraged to attend and experience a unique fusion of history and creativity in one location.

The 2026 Lagos Easter Art Carnival promises to be a landmark event, reinforcing Lagos’ position as a hub for arts, culture, and creative expression in Africa.
